If you will be gone for more than five days, let us know! We understand that sometimes life can get crazy, and things come up, but all we ask is that you let us know by dropping by a quick message on the main blog. If you are inactive for five days without notice, your role will be reopened! Activity checks are posted on Wednesdays; unfollow posts go up on Thursdays.
There will be sex, drugs, and alcohol portrayed here. If you can’t handle that, then this isn’t the roleplay for you.
You can have GIF conversations, of course, but we strongly encourage paraing. Please insert 1985 into the Anything Else section of your application. Paras are how you develop your character further and it gets boring just having GIF conversations constantly. Trust me, we know.
There are lengthy bios for a reason: so that you can stick with your character. If there is something you want to change, let an admin know, and we will decide upon it.
IC drama is highly encouraged. I can not stress this enough. I’ve been in an RP where OOC drama almost tore the group apart. If you have a problem with someone OOC, please let the admins know. You can deal with it privately, but if we see you starting OOC drama, we will message you with a warning. After two warnings, you are out.
Include everyone. You wouldn’t like it if you were to log on to see everyone else interacting on the dashboard, but no one acknowledging your character. It’s discouraging. The same goes for the OOC blog; do not just limit discussion between some sort of cult; it makes others feel uncomfortable.
Once you are accepted, you have 24 hours to make your account. You are also required to make at least one post in character. This does not include reblogging a graphic or audio post.
Reblog as text and cut your posts. We will message you telling you to do so if we see that you are not doing so. If you don’t understand how to do so, we will gladly explain.
You cannot make another character do or say something unless you’ve contacted the person behind the character to do so. This goes for plots as well. If you are unsure of what godmodding is, click here.
WEEKLY WRITING CHALLENGE: THE CHOKEY
In the Trunchbull’s office, behind the lavish bookshelves lies a room that’s the topic of whispers around Rosewood as it’s existence is highly debated. Is it real or is it just another rumor. But those who have seen it know that it’s not a rumor. It’s a room right out of Ryan Murphy’s ‘American Horror Story’. Spikes adorn the door, forcing one to stand up against the hot iron walls to avoid being impaled. Trunchbull forces one to stand in the room until she thinks that they have served. It’s torture, yet no one has proof of it’s existence.
THIS WEEK'S UNFORTUNATE SOUL
Weekly, we'll be picking a character at random to throw into the chokey. We'll be messaging the character, as well as making one of these posts.
When chosen for the Chokey, you are to write a self para of your character's time in the chokey. Remember this is a hot, cramped room so it's physically and emotionally torturous.
Also the chokey is an urban legend around Rosewood, the only character that knows it actually exists outside of those who have been thrown into it is Matilda Wormwood. The more people who come together against the Bull, the more chances there are for a rebellion event.
